Trams

Hop on the Free Tram Zone to cruise around the city center without spending a dime. Got your sights set outside the zone? Tap your myki card.

Kindly note that Dwell is located outside the Free Tram Zone.

Pro tip: If you’re new and feel like playing tourist, check out the City Circle Tram. It’s free, hop-on-hop-off, and gives you the best tour vibes. Trams roll every 7–10 mins in peak hours and chill at 20–30 mins off-peak.

Top-Up Tip: Grab a myki card at the 7/11 convenience stores and load up $11—perfect for a day of city adventures.

Here’s some nearby tram stations:

  • Flemington Bridge Station/Flemington Rd (North Melbourne): Approximately 1-minute walk from your location, this stop provides access to the Route 59 Tram Line, connecting you from Flinders Street Station to Airport West, with stops like Melbourne Zoo and Royal Park along the way.
  • Melbourne Central Tram Stop: About a 5-minute walk from your location, this stop is on several tram lines, including Route 19 (Flinders Street Station to North Coburg) and Route 59, providing convenient access to Melbourne’s central districts and beyond.
Buses

When trams don’t cut it (like in the suburbs), buses are your go-to. They’re super regular—every 10–15 mins during rush hours and 20–30 mins in quieter zones.

Trains

For longer trips between Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs, trains are a vibe. Running daily from 5 AM to midnight, they show up every 4–5 mins during peak times. Myki works here, too, unless you’re headed somewhere at the end of the line, you would need a paper ticket.
