We believe every resident deserves to feel safe, respected and supported. Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is unacceptable and will not be tolerated within our communities.
If you have experienced, witnessed or are concerned about any form of GBV, support is available and we encourage you to reach out.
What is Gender-Based Violence?
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) refers to harmful behaviour directed at a person because of their gender, gender identity, gender expression or perceived gender.
GBV can take many forms, including:
- Sexual harassment
- Sexual assault
- Stalking
- Domestic or intimate partner violence
- Coercive or controlling behaviour
- Online harassment or cyber abuse
- Emotional or psychological abuse
- Discrimination based on gender
Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their accommodation community.

- Your concern will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
- Available support options will be discussed with you.
- Information will be handled sensitively and confidentially wherever possible.
